Construction by Design was founded by Terri Robinson
and Theresa Turnbow in March 2005 after working
together on various projects over a ten year period.
At the encouragement of our subcontractors, we decided
to join forces and continue to do what we love doing,
only with our own company!

Co-Owner, Terri Robinson's background
is as a Facilities Manager / Assistant Vice President
for a Fortune 300 company for 13 years. She has
a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston.
This experience provides her with a corporate background
and a different view point because she has been
on your side of the transaction. Terri has experience
in construction management, as well as with all
the intricate details of opening or moving an office.
She can coordinate a project from start to finish
from equipment, phones, furniture, artwork and modular
workstations to signs and security systems - whatever
your project requires.

Theresa Turnbow
Co-Owner, Theresa Turnbow's
background consists of 25 years of space
planning and construction. She has a degree
from Long Beach California in Interior Design
and is a member in the International Interior
Design Association (IIDA). She has a vast
amount of knowledge of space planning, code
compliance and permitting. She has much
experience with architectural detailing,
construction management, Texas Accessibility
Standards of the Architectural Barriers
Act requirements as well as coordinating
with engineers and City inspections. She
can assist with all regulatory authorities
needed to complete your project on schedule.
Together the years of experience
and diverse backgrounds provide a wide spectrum
of knowledge and areas in which we can assist.
The turn-key service that is provided is
not limited to construction, but also includes
items such as space planning, signs, security
systems, equipment, cabling, furniture,
faux finish, artwork and accessories. We
pride ourselves in offering complete construction
services.
