My Pieces
Many of the pieces I make have one or more of the following
treatments on them: Textures are applied by hand or with stamps.
They are often embossed, or silk-screened with acrylic paints,
or leafed with silver and gold. Some are hand painted, and
sculpted. In addition multiple colors of clay can be hand
blended into intricate patterns called “caning”.
I only use the finest artist grade clay such as Kato. My pieces
are signed, and either buffed to a high sheen or sealed with
a protective finish
Each
piece is a uniquely handcrafted, one of a kind work of art.
