He
was
personally
selected
by
Earl
P.
Halliburton
as
the
driller
on
the
very
first
drill
stem
test.
His
experience
is
in
the
East
Texas
oilfields
and
as
an
early
Permian
Basin
pioneer
in
West
Texas
in
the
1920's,
'30's,
and
'40's.

Rick Stewart, left side of photo at left,
is a fourth-generation driller and
Petroleum Engineer from Oklahoma University. Rick is
responsible for
design, construction, and everyday operation of the
business. He is also
co-founder of
Wildcat Mfg.
Company, L.L.C.
Rick's father, Pat

J. Stewart, now
deceased, began
working in the
Oklahoma and
Texas
oilfields as
a young man and
eventually learned
all aspects of
the oil and
gas business.
He owned a drilling
company, oil
and gas leasing
brokerage
business, and
was also co-founder
of Wildcat Mfg.
Company, L.L.C.

"Papa" Stewart,
Pat's grandfather, was a driller in the East
Texas Spindletop field in the early 1900's.
Known to be "as hard a worker as the day
is long", "Papa" was a likeable
fellow and was always quick with a laugh.
